This week, Ban m di w looks back at "Bouke," recorded by Les Frères Déjean. The song had a second life outside of Haiti: in 1987, Blue Coast Group recorded a version called "Le Bourget" in Nicaragua.

In 1987, Blue Coast Group recorded "Le Bourget" in Nicaragua. The title changes, but it is indeed the melody of "Bouke" that can be heard.
