Cuba: home delivery of pension payments is expanding in Sancti Spíritus
The Banco Popular de Ahorro (BPA) in Sancti Spíritus has started a program aimed at making it easier to pay pensions to beneficiaries directly in their homes. This service is made possible thanks to the support of local businesses and individuals, such as the Trabajadores por Cuenta Propia (TCP).

Yamilsi Arteaga Calcines indicated that Branch 5102 of the BPA in Sancti Spíritus is carrying out initiatives to improve the service. Pension beneficiaries can now receive their pensions without needing to travel to bank branches.
The program focuses primarily on the elderly and people with disabilities, like Julio Quintana, who expressed his satisfaction with the home payment.
BPA specialists, such as Yunaisy Plasencia Cárdenas, visit different communities to make these payments.
The program is also looking for ways to improve the process and expand it further to beneficiaries in need.
