Nagelsmann in pole position to replace Carrick at Manchester United

Carrick has been heavily criticized since this defeat and could be fired soon. Fans have called for Didier Deschamps to take over, but Nagelsmann seems to be the favorite among club decision-makers at the moment.

Growing Tensions

Carrick's situation worsened after Wednesday night's loss to Como in the Champions League. Recent performances and internal tensions have put the coach in a precarious position, according to several sources. Captain Bruno Fernandes openly criticized the club during his post-match press conference.

Candidates for the Job

According to RMC Sport and Foot Mercato, Julian Nagelsmann is in pole position to replace Carrick if he is fired. Deschamps remains a popular choice among fans, but the club currently favors the Nagelsmann option.

Fan Reactions

Social media has been flooded with calls for Didier Deschamps to take charge and revive Manchester United. Fans believe Deschamps would be capable of bringing back a winning culture to the club, despite him not yet accepting a new position.
